My Story
I began playing soccer at age 5 as most youth do.  Played multiple positions as a youth and focused in on goalie by age 11.  Joined my first travel team at age 11 and quickly earned a starting spot each year.  In additional to my team practice I spent many hours with my goalie specific trainer who guides my development as I strive to continually grow.   I think I most liked the position of goalie, because while challenging, it affords me the opportunity to see the game from a full field view and then use my skills to contribute to team success.  My training has allowed me to gain a broad set of keeper skills.  I am aggressive when defending crosses, have great foot work and distribution skills and can be that sweeper keeper when needed.   I pride myself on being field aware and communicating with my teammates to strengthen our defensive posture.Â
I spend my free time studying the game and focusing my training on always improving my skills.  Spending time with my family and walking my dog.

As a GK I play as an 11th field player. Â I play the sweeper keeper style where I leave my area to stop balls in behind. Â I also receive that ball from my teammates and start attacks with long or short passes. Â I control my penalty area by claiming crosses and balls in behind. Â My play style is very valuable to my teams.
